Want to beat the heat this summer? Get out and explore a lake park with water activities and fun for the whole family!

If you’re looking for a less crowded spot for boating, camping, swimming and fishing, check out Alamo Lake State Park. Just short drive north brings you to a clear lake with beautiful mountain scenery and some of the best bass fishing in the state! There are still lots of camping spots available – whether you prefer a tent, RV or one of our comfy cabins.

At a higher elevation with more than 1,200 acres to explore, Lyman Lake State Park offers boating, water-skiing, fishing, hiking and camping. Plus, this beautiful park has cabins available for those who are looking for a little more glamor in their camping experience.

Near Safford in the eastern part of the state, Roper Lake State Park and the adjacent Dankworth Pond offers water fun for the whole family. Boating, fishing and swimming are all options here, plus hiking, wildlife viewing and camping. Cozy cabins are available, plus RV and tent camping spots.

Visit azstateparks.com to find out how to make camping or cabin reservations today.
