In a groundbreaking move for 2023, Weatherby introduced the Model 307 action.

Marking the first significant update to their centerfire rifle actions since the 1960s. This new action is designed to seamlessly integrate with the iconic Mark V and Vanguard rifle lines, bringing modern versatility to shooters and hunters alike.

The Model 307 action features a sleek, 2-lug, fully cylindrical design, which aligns perfectly with the current market’s demand for compatibility with a wide array of aftermarket accessories. Key features include a fluted bolt with easy, tool-less disassembly, a precision TriggerTech trigger, and a detachable AICS magazine, ensuring that the rifle can be tailored to the user’s exact specifications.

All rifles boasting the Model 307 action are proudly manufactured at Weatherby’s headquarters in Sheridan, Wyoming, maintaining the high standard of precision and craftsmanship that has defined Weatherby since 1945.

Spotlight: Model 307 Range XP 2.0

Starting at $1,279, the Range XP 2.0 is the flagship model featuring the new action. It sports a lightweight stock with a vertical grip, adjustable cheekpiece, and length of pull, offering shooters a custom-fit experience. The textured touch points enhance grip security, while dual front swivel studs provide ample attachment options for accessories.

This model comes equipped with an adjustable TriggerTech trigger for unparalleled precision, a Magpul® magazine for convenience, and a skip-fluted barrel that guarantees sub-MOA accuracy. The inclusion of a recoil-reducing Accubrake adds to the comfort, making long sessions at the range or in the field more enjoyable. Finished with a durable Cerakote and sporting a unique, hand-done sponge paint finish on the stock, the Range XP 2.0 not only performs but also stands out visually.

Features at a Glance:

  • Model 307 Action compatible with Rem® 700 footprint
  • Spiral Fluted Bolt with tool-less disassembly
  • TriggerTech Adjustable Trigger for precision shooting
  • AICS Detachable Mag for ease of reloading
  • Adjustable Stock with cheek riser and length of pull
  • Skip-Fluted Barrel with Sub MOA Guarantee
  • Recoil Reducing Accubrake and thread cap (1/2×28)
  • Cerakote® Finish for durability
  • Made in Sheridan, WY for quality assurance
