Springfield Armory is excited to introduce the XD Mod.3 OSP 9mm, the latest evolution in the renowned XD series. Building on the platform that set the benchmark for feature-rich, striker-fired handguns, the XD Mod.3 OSP comes packed with enhancements and upgrades—all at an MSRP of just $325.

The XD Mod.3 OSP features a hammer-forged, Melonite-finished slide with a factory-milled OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) cut, allowing users to mount a variety of popular red dot optics. Compatible optic footprints, including RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, and Docter, can be easily installed with OSP plates, available for purchase through the Springfield Armory Store.

This pistol is also outfitted with rugged steel sights—a red fiber optic front sight paired with a white dot rear sight for fast and accurate target acquisition. The slide boasts enhanced serrations at the front and rear for superior grip, even in tough conditions, along with a flared cut at the back to further assist with easy slide manipulation.

Safety and functionality are a priority in the XD Mod.3 OSP. The pistol includes a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator on the slide’s top and a striker-status indicator on the rear, giving shooters peace of mind. The 4” barrel is hammer-forged and finished with Melonite® for durability and performance.

The frame of theXD Mod.3 OSP features aggressive texturing at key contact points, providing excellent grip control. An undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail promote a high-hand position, giving the shooter superior handling and control. The passive grip safety includes a raised “memory bump” for consistent engagement, while the flat-faced trigger ensures enhanced performance and feel. The accessory rail on the dust cover allows for the addition of lights, lasers, or other tactical gear.

The XD Mod.3 OSP ships with a 16-round stainless steel magazine, and a 10-round version is also available for restricted areas.
