Hey folks, here’s some exciting news from Springfield Armory®! The Hellcat® 9mm and XD-M® 4.5” 9mm, 10mm, and .45 ACP pistols just got even better with their brand new drop-in threaded barrels. These barrels are hammer forged, so you know they’ll deliver both durability and precision performance.

The Hellcat threaded barrel kit comes with a 3.8” hammer-forged threaded barrel, Self Indexing Compensator, and thread protector. This drop-in barrel system has 1/2×28 threading and will work with any standard configuration 3” Hellcat 9mm pistol. And don’t forget about the black Melonite finish, which ensures rust-resistance and lubricity.

The Self Indexing Compensator is a great bonus, made from 8082 aluminum and anodized matte black. It’s designed to help reduce muzzle rise and perceived recoil, which is a huge plus for all you serious shooters out there. Plus, the rate of twist is 1:10”, and the barrel weighs 2.72 oz, while the Self Indexing Compensator weighs 0.7 oz.

Now, if you’re looking to upgrade your XD-M pistol to be suppressor ready, then check out the hammer-forged threaded barrels designed for the XD-M 4.5”. These drop-in threaded barrels come in 9mm, 10mm and .45 ACP variants and feature a black Melonite coating for rust-resistance and lubricity. The barrels also come with included thread protectors.

The rate of twist for the XD-M barrels is 1:10” for 9mm, and 1:16” for both 10mm and .45 ACP. The 9mm barrel weighs 4.04 oz., the 10mm barrel 4.45 oz., and the .45 ACP barrel 3.66 oz. And for those wondering, the 9mm barrel features 1/2×28 threading, while the 10mm and .45 ACP barrels sport .578×28 threading.

In the words of Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory, “With these new threaded barrels, shooters can further expand the capabilities of our most popular polymer-framed pistols. You can now run a Self Indexing Compensator or suppressor on your Hellcat, or fit your favorite XD-M with the suppressor of your choice.”

MSRP for the 9mm Hellcat 3.8″ Threaded Barrel with Self-Indexing Compensator is $199.99. And for the XD-M threaded barrels, all three in 9mm, 10mm and .45 ACP have an MSRP of $159.99.

So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to Springfield Armory and check out these amazing new threaded barrels for yourself!
