A high-end black handgun with blue accents.

Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc., announced the launch of the M&P9 Metal HD – Spec Series V, the latest jewel in the crown of the esteemed Spec Series lineup. This new model is not just a gun; it’s a statement of precision, power, and unparalleled craftsmanship.

The M&P9 Metal HD – Spec Series V is a striker-fired 9mm pistol that boasts an impressive 23-round magazine capacity. It features a newly designed aluminum trigger, which ensures shooters experience consistent and pinpoint accuracy with every shot.

Weighing just 2.31 pounds without the magazine, this pistol showcases a robust steel frame, enhanced texturing, and a steel magwell for those who demand performance under pressure. The 4.8-inch threaded barrel, along with the controls and magwell, sports a vibrant blue PVD finish, making it not only functional but a visual masterpiece. Equipped with a Strike Industries™ compensator, the M&P9 Metal HD reduces muzzle rise, giving shooters better control and quicker follow-up shots.

Corey Beaudreau, Product Manager at Smith & Wesson, stated, “We’ve taken the beloved ergonomics and reliability of our polymer M&P handguns and fused them into a steel platform. The result? A firearm that not only looks premium but also significantly reduces felt recoil, enabling shooters to maintain speed and accuracy in dynamic environments.”

Out of the box, the M&P9 Metal HD comes with tall C.O.R.E.™ green night sights, and an optics-ready slide for those who prefer the precision of a red dot sight. The package is rounded out with three 23-round magazines, a Limited-Edition Spec Series Coin and Knife, all housed in a hard carry case, ensuring you’re ready for action right away.

For enthusiasts eager to get their hands on this engineering marvel, visit www.smith-wesson.com for more details.
