Sturm, Ruger & Company lightweight 10/22 rifle

A New Era in Rimfire Innovation

For firearms enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers, the Ruger 10/22 rifle has been a staple for decades. Now, Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc.  introduces the lightest 10/22® model ever, pushing the boundaries of innovation and performance. Chambered in .22 LR and weighing just 3.5 pounds, this rifle is perfect for hunting, target shooting, and outdoor recreation.

The Lightest Ruger 10/22 Rifle Yet

The new 10/22 model features a 16.1″ cold hammer-forged tensioned barrel with a carbon fiber sleeve, delivering lightweight durability and reduced vibration for enhanced accuracy. Threaded at 1/2″-28, this barrel is ready for muzzle devices, making it an ideal choice for customization enthusiasts.

Magpul MOE X-22 Stock: Built for Comfort and Control

This model’s Magpul MOE X-22 stock combines toughness and utility with a textured splatter-paint finish for grip in any weather. The stock includes:

  • M-LOK attachment slots for accessories
  • Integral sling loops for easy carry
  • A 13.5″ length of pull, providing comfort for a wide range of shooters

Custom Shop Models: Precision Redefined

Ruger’s Custom Shop takes the 10/22 platform to the next level with two premium models featuring a Grey Birch chassis. Designed for both right- and left-handed shooters, these rifles offer:

  • Adjustable length of pull and comb height
  • A folding chassis for portability
  • A 10″ forend with M-LOK slots and an Arca-Swiss rail for ultimate versatility

BX-Trigger®: Crisp, Clean Break

All new 10/22 models include Ruger’s legendary BX-Trigger®, offering a light, crisp pull at approximately 2.75 lbs. This enhances accuracy and delivers a premium shooting experience for hunters and target shooters alike.

Why Ruger’s New 10/22 Models Stand Out

  • Featherweight Design: At just 3.5 lbs., the lightest 10/22 yet
  • Customizable Features: Threaded barrel, M-LOK slots, and adjustable stocks
  • Precision Engineering: Ruger BX-Trigger® for consistent performance
