First Binary Trigger for FN SCAR Rifles

Franklin Armory, a leader in innovative firearms technology, has just announced the launch of the SKR-C1, the first Binary Firing System® trigger designed specifically for the FN SCAR® rifle.

This new addition to Franklin Armory’s acclaimed lineup of Binary® triggers brings the excitement of Binary mode firing to FN SCAR enthusiasts, enhancing both the performance and user experience of this popular platform.

“Our community has been vocal about their desire for a Binary option for the SCAR, and we’ve listened,” said Franklin Armory President Jay Jacobson. “Our team has worked tirelessly to integrate our cutting-edge Binary technology into the SCAR’s system, ensuring that it not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our users.”

The SKR-C1 features a three-position selector switch that includes:

  • Position One: Safe, ensuring no accidental discharges.
  • Position Two: Traditional semiautomatic firing.
  • Position Three: Binary® mode, where pulling the trigger fires one round, and releasing fires another.

This functionality allows for dynamic shooting experiences while maintaining safety through the ability to cancel the release round by simply switching back to semi or safe mode.

Priced at an MSRP of $499.99, the SKR-C1 is set to ship before the end of Q1 2025. This trigger not only promises to redefine the shooting dynamics for FN SCAR owners but also stands as a testament to Franklin Armory’s commitment to innovation in the firearms industry.
