Little over a month after introduction of the new Gen 5 Glock, Apex Tactical Specialties, the industry leader in aftermarket drop-in performance parts for firearms, announces the upcoming release the week of October 16th of the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger and Apex Action Enhancement Kit for Gen 5 Glock pistols.

The new trigger has been designed by Apex’s engineering team to specifically accommodate the ambidextrous slide lock lever of the Gen 5 Glock 17 and Glock 19 model pistols.

The Action Enhancement Trigger for the Gen 5 Glock is available pre-installed on an Apex Gen 5 Trigger Bar, allowing Glock owners to simply swap out the trigger and trigger bar for an easy return to the stock configuration. The Action Enhancement Trigger, part number 102-111, improves the trigger performance by reducing overall trigger travel and delivering a shorter reset. The MSRP is $109.95.

Also being released is an Apex Action Enhancement Kit. Based on Apex’s most popular product for earlier generation Glocks, the kit pairs the Action Enhancement Trigger with an Apex Performance Connector. This combination further improves the trigger performance by reducing the trigger pull weight by approximately one pound. The part number for the kit is 102-116 and the MSRP is $124.95.

Features and Specifications:
– Direct drop-in replacement of factory polymer trigger
– Direct drop-in replacement of factory connector (Kit only)
– Delivers crisp trigger break
– Smooths uptake and reset
– Reduces trigger over-travel
– Shortens reset length
– Center mounted pivoting safety maintains factory safety values
– Reduces trigger pull weight by approximately 1 lb. (Kit only)
– Apex Part #: 102-111 (Action Enhancement Trigger w/ Apex Gen 5 Trigger Bar)
– MSRP: $109.95
– Apex Part #: 102-116 (Action Enhancement Kit)
– MSRP: $124.95

Dealers and distributors wishing to stock the new trigger and kit can contact Apex at dealer@apextactical.com or (623) 322-0200 for pricing and quantity availability.
