Even in the depth of night, the Sightmark Ranger XR 6.5×42 Digital Night Vision Monocular, complete with onboard high-powered 18mW LED and wide-angle auxiliary IR illuminators, provides a detection range of up to 400 yards; of course, as a result of digital night vision technology the Ranger can also be used during daylight hours without fear of damaging delicate components.

The Sightmark Ranger XR 6.5×42 Digital Night Vision Monocular can be powered by (6) AA batteries with a lifespan of up to 5 hours with IR illumination or 12 hours without, or via an external power source. The adventure-ready kit includes DC and car power adapters, a carrying case, neck strap, video-output cable, lens cloth and an extra battery container.
