The Ultimate EDC Pistol Now with Threaded Barrel

Kimber Mfg. continues to expand its popular KDS9c family with the release of the highly anticipated KDS9c TFS model. Following the success of the original KDS9c, which debuted in April 2023, the latest addition comes equipped with a threaded barrel designed to accommodate standardized 9mm suppressors with a 1/2×28 thread pitch—making it a must-have for those looking to shoot suppressed.

Like its predecessors, the KDS9c TFS is built to set the standard for hammer-fired, everyday carry (EDC) pistols. This new model caters to the growing demand for optic-ready, light-bearing firearms among today’s concealed carry owners, while also delivering a threaded barrel, making it the most fully equipped KDS9c to date.

Key Features of the KDS9c TFS:

  • Threaded Barrel: Suppressor-ready with a 1/2×28 thread pitch for compatibility with standard 9mm suppressors.
  • Alloy Frame: Made from 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum, with an integrated crosshatch textured design for superior grip and control.
  • Enhanced Ergonomics: The textured front strap and grip panels provide excellent comfort and stability during use.
  • Flat-Faced Trigger: Features a crisp 3.5-4.5lb trigger pull, offering the premium trigger feel Kimber is known for.
  • Optics-Ready: Compatible with Trijicon RMR and Holosun K optics, ensuring you’re ready for quick target acquisition.
  • Magazine Capacity: Comes standard with one 15-round magazine and one 18-round magazine featuring an extended alloy base.

In addition to the TFS model, Kimber has adjusted pricing across the entire KDS9c lineup thanks to increased production capacity. The KDS9c TFS is now available at an MSRP of $1,695, while the standard model is priced at $1,345, and the Rail model at $1,615—making these premium pistols even more accessible for EDC enthusiasts.

Special Consumer Promotion:

To celebrate the KDS9c lineup, Kimber is offering an exclusive promotion for anyone who has purchased a KDS9c model in 2024. Eligible customers can receive two additional 15-round magazines and an alternative grip color of their choice. This promotion runs through November 30th, 2024, so don’t miss out!

Quote from Kimber:

“We could not be more excited to continue building on the success of the KDS9c,” said Everett Deger, Director of Marketing at Kimber. “This model has been a phenomenal performer for those seeking a premium personal protection EDC firearm. With the new threaded barrel, we’ve delivered a pistol that meets the needs of those wanting to shoot suppressed.”
