Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 Upper Receiver Kits Now Available Nationwide

Heckler & Koch USA proudly introduces the MR556 A4 Upper Receiver Kits, now available at HK dealers nationwide. These kits, offered in 11” and 16” barrel lengths, carry HK’s renowned lifetime barrel wear warranty. Consequently, shooters can trust in long-lasting performance.

Each kit includes a complete upper receiver, bolt carrier group, gas piston assembly, barrel, and adjustable gas regulator. Moreover, these uppers seamlessly integrate with most AR-15 and Mil-Spec lower receivers. This compatibility ensures easy upgrades for existing rifle owners.

The MR556, HK’s commercial version of the iconic HK416, features a short-stroke gas piston system. Unlike traditional AR direct impingement systems, this design enhances reliability. Additionally, it reduces maintenance and internal wear, ensuring consistent performance over time.

Nathan Schueth, HK USA Director of Sales & Business Development, stated, “We’re thrilled to offer the A4 Upper Receiver Kits. Shooters can enhance their existing lower without buying a new rifle.” Furthermore, for MR556 A1 owners, these kits provide an adjustable gas block upgrade or a quick barrel length swap.

Announced in early 2025, the MR556 A4 boasts significant improvements over the A1 model. For instance, it includes fully ambidextrous controls, a lighter barrel profile, and a slimmer handguard. As a result, the complete rifle sheds about one pound, improving handling.

These kits empower shooters to customize their firearms efficiently. Whether upgrading an A1 or adding versatility, the MR556 A4 delivers unmatched quality. Visit hk-usa.com for more details and to locate a dealer.
