Daniel Defense’s Lightest 16″ Rifle now Available in Two New Finishes

Daniel Defense, manufacturer of the world’s finest firearms and accessories, has released its best-selling DDM4V7 rifle in two new rugged Cerakote finishes: Daniel Defense Tornado® and Mil Spec +®. The original black hard-anodized finish is also still an option, making the V7 currently available in three attractive color options.

The DDM4V7 is one of Daniel Defense’s most lightweight and popular 5.56mm rifles, and represents one of the lightest 16-inch-barreled weapon the company manufactures. It’s also the first rifle in DD’s lineup to feature the MFR XS rail with M-LOK® attachment technology—a modular direct-attach mounting system that securely locks accessories onto “negative space” mounting points—on its free-floating 15-inch rail. With M-LOK attachment points that run along seven positions on the lightweight rail, and an uninterrupted Picatinny rail on top, the V7 offers ample real estate for optics, lights, and other accessories. And because the rail is free-floating and never touches the Cold Hammer Forged 16-inch Government Profile barrel, it doesn’t interfere with barrel harmonics, which can adversely affect a weapon’s accuracy.

Adding to the V7’s maneuverability and accuracy is a mid-length gas system that provides smooth, reliable cycling and reduces perceived recoil and wear and tear on moving parts. A durable DD Flash Suppressor virtually eliminates muzzle flash, while a comfortable Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip make this maneuverable weapon, which weighs only 6.2 pounds unloaded, ergonomic and easy to keep on target.

The DDM4V7 is available from an authorized Daniel Defense retailer. MSRP for the black-finished version is $1,679, while the Cerakote models retail for $1847.
