Power, Precision, and Dominance in Long-Range Shooting

Auto-Ordnance now introduces the TAO50 Thompson rifle in .50 BMG, a groundbreaking bolt-action rifle that redefines long-range shooting standards. This rifle caters to shooters demanding maximum power and precision, merging cutting-edge tech with robust engineering for unmatched performance.

Performance and Design:

The TAO50 features a patent-pending roller bearing bolt system and an advanced muzzle brake, setting new benchmarks in American firearms design. Available in rugged black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE) anodized finishes, this rifle combines style with durability.

  • Barrel: A 29-inch precision barrel with a 1:15 twist rate, threaded at 1”-14, ensures maximum accuracy.
  • Recoil Management: The rifle’s revolutionary jet brake reduces recoil. It’s compatible with suppressors from top brands like Innovative Arms®, Elite Iron®, B&T®, and HUXWRX®. We recommend using the proprietary muzzle brake for the best recoil control.

Ergonomics and Features:

  • Stock and Grip: Equipped with a Magpul® PRS Gen 3 adjustable stock and MOE+® grip for enhanced control and comfort during extended sessions.
  • Trigger: A Timney® AR-style trigger enhances shooting precision.
  • Bipod: An integrated Accu-Tac® bipod provides the necessary stability for long-range engagements.

Specifications:

  • Weight: 25.5 lbs
  • Length: 61 inches
  • Aesthetic: Features iconic Thompson “bullet” engravings on the lower receiver and muzzle brake, celebrating Auto-Ordnance’s rich heritage.

Customization and Versatility:

The TAO50 is built for adaptability with accessory and optics rails, allowing shooters to tailor the rifle to their specific needs. It comes with a 10-round Barrett® M107A1 magazine for extended shooting sessions. All these components are securely housed in a rugged, wheeled hard case, ready for any shooting environment.

Conclusion:

The TAO50 Thompson rifle isn’t just another firearm; it’s a declaration of dominance in long-range shooting. Whether for competition, hunting, or tactical use, the TAO50 meets and exceeds expectations, dominating any target in sight.
