THE ALL-NEW CARBONLITE GHOST 420 IS BARNETT’S FASTEST CROSSBOW EVER
Today’s crossbows are a far cry from the very first modern crossbow Mr. Bernard Barnett crafted in his garage in the U.K. in 1962. And they’re simply worlds away from those used by hunters and soldiers in medieval times. The modern hunting crossbow is smaller, lighter, smoother, faster and easier to use than ever before. It’s no wonder hoards of traditional bow hunters and firearms hunters are flocking to the crossbow to unlock new hunting opportunities and experiences.

Experienced hunters understand the value of premium-quality top-performing firearms and compound bows. They’ve tried the rest and have invested in the best. For this caliber of hunter looking to purchase his or her first crossbow – or the existing crossbow hunter seeking the ultimate in speed, quality and performance – the all-new Barnett Ghost 420 was created to exceed their expectations.

One of three premium crossbows in Barnett’s elite Carbonlite Series, the standout Ghost 420 is Barnett’s fastest crossbow ever. Featuring a full carbon step-through riser and a machined aluminum flight track to minimize weight while stalking or patiently waiting for the shot on stand, the Ghost 420 boasts a 185-pound draw weight capable of sending an arrow flying at a blistering 420 feet per second.

But lightness, balance and speed are just the beginning.

Barnett’s premium variable-power illuminated scope further enhances the Ghost 420’s performance and accuracy, and its all-new TriggerTech trigger system is the finest available. Frictionless Release Technology employs a unique, free-floating roller between the trigger and sear, instilling confidence and boosting accuracy through an incredibly smooth and light three-pound trigger pull with zero creep. Additionally, nock sensors and ADF (anti-dry fire) keep a spring-loaded safety bar in place until the arrow is properly seated, protecting the user and the bow from accidental dry fire.

The all-new Ghost 420’s premium features continue with string dampeners, a rubber butt pad, pass-through foregrip, 7/8″ Picatinny rails, included Talon sling, and a side-mount quiver that detaches with the simple press of a button. The result is a crossbow that allows hunters to hunt how they want, without compromise… along with some jealous gazes from their hunting companions. Best of all, the Ghost 420 comes mostly assembled from the factory; the simple installation of a single bolt out of the box is all that’s necessary to complete the package for duty.

A premium bow should look as good as it performs, and the Ghost 420 does both like no other. So how did Barnett match the 420’s aesthetics with its sizzling performance? With Mossy Oak Treestand Monochromatic: a sleek, deluxe camo pattern exclusive to the Ghost 420, ensuring that this top-performing crossbow actually stands out while blending in. Yeah, we just said that.
