TruckVault Introduces Strike Guard Technology

Since 1996, TruckVault has been known as the most trusted name for secure in-vehicle storage. To continue this legacy, TruckVault has developed its patent pending Strike Guard Technology to provide an additional level of security to its most popular locking system.

Strike Guard Technology has been added to reinforce the Push Button Key Override Kaba Lock with a flanged lip consisting of a Strike Plate and Backing Plate constructed out of extremely tough AISI 1020 Galvanized Steel. When locking the new system the Striker Plate works in unison with the Backer Plate and primary structure of the unit to firmly lock the bolt and prevent bolt tampering and movement.

With vehicle break-ins on the rise, it is paramount firearms and other valuables be secured responsibly and kept out of the hands of criminals. TruckVault systems with new Strike Guard Technology keep your fishing and hunting equipment safe, secure and organized while traveling.

“It takes less than one minute for a thief to break into your car and grab valuables,” said Sales and Marketing Director Don Fenton. “Smash and grab thieves act on impulse. TruckVault units not only keep items hidden, they keep them safe and secure. We want outdoors men and women to enjoy the outdoors not worry about their belongings.”

Strike Guard Technology is now standard on any new TruckVault unit using Push Button Key Override Kaba locks and will be on display at the TruckVault booth number 33273 at SEMA 2016 and booth number 12979 at SHOT Show 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
