Streamlight Inc., renowned for their superior lighting solutions and tactical gear, has just launched an enhanced series of their popular TLR-8 and TLR-8 Sub lines. These new models boast an incredible 1,000 lumens of illumination, providing unparalleled visibility and tactical advantage in low-light scenarios.

Now, with the flexibility of dual battery options, users can choose between the eco-friendly SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable battery pack or the traditional CR123A lithium battery, ensuring compatibility and convenience in any situation. The front-loading battery design allows for easy replacement without the need to detach the light from your firearm, maintaining readiness at all times.

The lineup includes:

  • TLR-8 HL-X and TLR-8 HL-X G for full-size and compact handguns, equipped with either a red or green laser.
  • TLR-8 HL-X Sub and TLR-8 HL-X G Sub tailored for subcompact handguns from brands like GLOCK, SIG SAUER, Springfield Armory, and others with 1913 short rails.

These lights are not just bright; they’re smartly designed with customizable rear paddle switches to fit your unique shooting style.

Ray Sharrah, President and CEO of Streamlight, commented, “These lights are a game-changer for law enforcement, military, and tactical users. They offer high-lumen output for sweeping areas and a powerful beam for pinpoint accuracy, all enhanced by the choice of red or green lasers for daytime visibility.”

Key Technical Specs:

  • LED: High power with 1,000 lumens (max), 22,000 candela (for HL-X), beam distance up to 297 meters.
  • Battery Life: 30 minutes at full power or 1 hour with programmable settings.
  • Weight: Ranges from 2.77 oz to 3.14 oz depending on the model and battery type.
  • Construction: Durable 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish, IPX4 water-resistant.
