Century Arms, the exclusive importer of Canik handguns and accessories, has announced the newest addition to the Canik TP9 series handgun line, the TP9SFL.
The long slide TP9SFL was designed to provide shooters with a tactical version of the popular TP9SFX competition-ready pistol while maintaining all of its performance characteristics.

“The TP9SFL handgun, with its added sight radius, has the potential to be used not only as a self-defense pistol, but also as a competition gun.” said Jason Karvois, Century Arms Director of Sales. “It shares favorable features with the TP9SFx, Canik’s race-ready competition model, while having all the features needed in a full-size duty pistol.”
Built on the same base platform as the popular full size TP9SF pistol, the TP9SFL is a military-grade, 9mm, striker-fired pistol comprised of a match grade barrel with button cut rifling, forward slide serrations, loaded chamber indicator and a rear striker status indicator. Canik added additional features consisting of a longer, 5.2-inch barrel and lightening cuts on the slide to reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil, while keeping the barrel cool under the rapid fire experienced during a competition. The long sight radius, combined with Warren Tactical sights, makes the TP9SFL pistol an excellent choice for competition or home defense.

The TP9SFL pistols are now shipping and will be available at retailers with an MSRP of $499.99. Each TP9SFL pistol comes neatly packaged from the factory with two 18-round magazines, polymer holster/belt attachment, two interchangeable backstraps, cleaning rod, brush, magazine loader, plastic carrying case and a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
