Swarovski Optic’s New BTX Binocular Spotting Scope Revolutionizes the Viewing Experience

Cranston, Rhode Island – SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA, a subsidiary of the Austrian based company, presents the BTX. This unique binocular system uses the visual power of both eyes and enables observers to use their entire vision to find what they are looking for. Being able to observe for hours with intense concentration, immersing yourself in memorable moments, discovering the finest details – this is what the BTX has to offer, combining the features and benefits of a spotting scope and binocular. SWAROVSKI OPTIK is presenting the most revolutionary viewing experience ever. Experts and novice alike who often glass for many hours will appreciate the angled view and ergonomic forehead rest.

The crystal clear SWAROVISION technology reproduces even the smallest details with color fidelity and razor-sharpness right to the edge of the field of view. The BTX has a 30x or 35x magnification, according to the objective module chosen. (65 mm, 85 mm or 95 mm) Priority was placed on maximizing viewing comfort. Since the binocular system reflects natural vision, the image seems extraordinarily vivid. Viewing with both eyes also means avoiding strenuous squinting. The angled view helps to ensure maximum comfort while observing for long periods of time. The innovative, adjustable forehead rest, which can be fully retracted, if desired, makes it more comfortable when exploring. An aiming aid is integrated above the right eyepiece and the observer only needs to glance up to find the target.

The BTX is compatible with all objective modules in the SWAROVSKI OPTIK ATX/STX family, and has a choice of perfectly adapted accessories to enhance the user’s experience. The magnification can be quickly and easily increased to 50x or 60x by using the ME 1.7x magnification extender, available as an optional accessory. The proprietary bayonet system allows the extender to be mounted to any of the objective and eyepiece modules in the ATX/STX/BTX family. The new BR (balance rail) and PTH (professional tripod) head are optional accessories that help to ensure the whole system is extremely stable. The rail can be adjusted separately to perfectly balance the BTX. With its integrated fluid system, the tripod head allows the spotting scope to move evenly and smoothly during observation.

Albert Wannenmacher, CEO of SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA, said “The BTX binocular spotting scope literally changes the way we look at spotting scopes. To be able to utilize your entire vision will not only enhance what you are seeing, but also it will totally immerse you in nature.”
