Pulsar Thermion XG50

Pulsar’s elite Thermion XG50 has been voted as NRA’s American Rifleman’s 2021 Optic of the Year! The ‘Golden Bullseye’ awards are given annually, and, according to their website,

“To qualify for a NRA Golden Bullseye Award, products must be reliable, innovative in design and function, and perceived as a value to the purchaser. Winners of a Golden Bullseye Award are selected by a seven-member committee of NRA Publications staff members with more than a century of collective experience in the shooting and hunting industry.”

Referring to the XG50, American Rifleman said the scope “expands the range at which hunters can detect game and provides increased resolution, giving users more information about what they’re seeing downrange”, adding “it’s easy to understand why we named the Pulsar Thermion XG50 Optic of the Year.”

The Thermion XG50 features:

  • 640×480 microbolometer strength
  • 12-micron pixel detail
  • 2,400-yard detection range
  • Rechargeable battery pack
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • 12 micron BAE sensor
  • Multiple color palettes
  • Onboard video and audio recording
  • Stream Vision app compatibility
  • Manual, semi- and automatic calibration modes
  • External power supply adaptability
  • 13 variable electronic reticles
  • 5 rifle profiles
  • One-shot zeroing freeze function
